India's Central Government's Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, has released the list of 2009 public holidays and restricted holidays to be observed in all the Administrative Offices of the Central Government of India.
Note that the aforementioned list of 2009 public holidays and restricted holidays differs by a month from the date of Deepavali which was recently announced by the government of Singapore (2008-02-25), and which we had deemed to be incorrect.
