Saipan Declares November 23 Public Holiday

Saipan's Commonwealth Election Commission Board has announced that the date of the upcoming runoff election would be Monday, November 23, 2009, which has been declared a non-working public holiday.

As well as being a non-working public holiday, Monday, November 23, 2009, will also be a dry day in Saipan, with an alcohol ban in effect during polling stations' opening hours.
