Bahrain's Prime Minister, Prince Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa, has issued a decision that Bahrain's public sector observe the Eid Al Adha public holidays from Monday to Thursday, November 15-18, 2010.

Recall that a decision by the previous parliament (2006-12-25) added Arafat Day, the day when pilgrims stand on Mount Arafat in the suburbs of Makkah, to the usual 3-day Eid al-Adha public holidays.

The aforementioned 4-day public holidays, when linked to the Friday-Saturday weekend (2006-08-02), means that government employees will be on holidays for 6 days.
