Bermuda Clarifies June Public Holidays

The Cabinet Office of the Government of Bermuda has issued a clarification of the upcoming June public holidays, as well as those to come until the end of 2010.

The announcement states that the Annual Parade to observe the Queen's Birthday would take place on Saturday, June 12, 2010, and that this day is not a public holiday (nor is Monday, June 14).

The June, Queen's birthday, public holiday was canceled in 2008 (2008-04-10), to compensate the move of the recently-declared National Heroes' Day (2007-09-19), which was moved from October to June in 2009 (2009-05-24).
