The governor of Bolivia's State of Oruro, Santos Tito Veliz, has signed into law the recent legislative bill declaring Wednesday, October 6, 2010, as a one-off regional public holiday.
The Ley Nº02 ("decretando por única e histórica ocasión feriado departamental para la jornada de éste miércoles 6 de octubre") was passed by the Asamblea Legislativa Departamental earlier this week to commemorate the October 6, 1810, revolution.
