Bulgaria Approves New Easter Public Holiday

Bulgaria's Parliament has approved a bill that will make Orthodox Good Friday an official, non-working, public holiday in Bulgaria.

This bill amending the Bulgarian Labour Code, and which would make Good Friday an annual non-working public holiday, was approved by the Bulgarian Cabinet in draft, as we reported at the end of last year (2009-12-16).
