Bulgarian 2011 Public Holidays Announced

The Bulgarian Council of Ministers has released the list of additional bridge public holidays for the calendar year 2011.

According to the aforementioned announcement (Decision No.878 of 16 December 2010 for shifting of holidays in 2011 - State Gazette number 100), Bulgarians will get 4 additional public holidays in 2011; Friday March 4, Monday May 23, Monday September 5, and Friday September 23, 2011.

As is customary, (2009-12-16, 2009-09-10 and 2009-02-19), these 4 additional non-working public holidays will be compensated by the declaration of the same number of working Saturdays.
