The Consejo de Gobierno de Comunidad Autónoma de Castilla La-Mancha has published the list of 2011 public holidays in Spain's Autonomous Región of Castilla La-Mancha.
In 2011, the Autonomous Región of Castilla La-Mancha has declared regional public holidays on March 19 (San José), and May 31 (Día de la Región de Castilla-La Mancha), as was the case last year (2009-09-14). In addition, for the first time, June 23 (día del Corpus Christi) will be a regional public holiday in the Autonomous Región of Castilla La-Mancha.
Castilla La-Mancha will be the second region of Spain to restore this public holiday, long associated with the Franco regime, and shunned for that reason. For the last 2 years the Comunidad de Madrid has been listing Corpus Christi as a regional public holiday (2009-10-07 and 2008-09-26).
