The 2006 Senatorial Bill to declare Good Friday an official public holiday in the Czech Republic has once again been postponed by the Czech Lower House.
The Czech Senate had voted a bill in late 2006 (2006-11-03) that would declare Good Friday an official non-working public holiday in the Czech Republic, but since then the consideration of this bill has systematically been postponed by the Czech Lower House (2007-02-07).
