Indonesia Announces September 10 Idul Fitri Public Holiday

Indonesian Minister of Religious Affairs, Suryadharma Ali, has announced that the current month of Ramadan would last 30 days, and therefore that the upcoming Idul Fitri public holiday would be on Friday, September 10, 2010.

The aforementioned announcement is in line with the decree designating public holidays and collective leave days for 2010, as issued by the government of Indonesia, last year (09-Aug-2009).
