The Kuwaiti Cabinet has declared Sunday, November 14, 2010, as an additional bridge public holiday in ministries and government departments, to link the preceding weekend with the upcoming Eid al-Adha public holidays.
The aforementioned announcement means that all government offices, ministries and banks in Kuwait will be closed for nine days, from Friday, November 12, to Saturday, November 20, 2010.
Note that as per the communiqué, the Kuwaiti cabinet has once again taken for granted that Arafat Day (the day before Eid al-Adha) is an annual public holiday, as it did last year (2009-11-19).
