The Labor Ministry of Kyrgyzstan has announced that the upcoming working day on Monday, November 15, 2010, had been shifted to Saturday, November 13, 2010.

Declaring Monday, November 15, 2010, as a bridge public holiday will create a 3-day weekend in Kyrgyzstan, when combined with the upcoming Kurban Bayram (Feast of Sacrifice) public holiday.

Having an extra bridge non-working public holiday compensated by declaring a weekend day as a regular working day is common in Kyrgyzstan (2010-08-25, 2010-02-15, 2009-12-11, 2008-12-19 and 2007-12-27).

Note that in neighboring Kazakhstan the cabinet has decided not to declare a bridge public holiday on Monday, November 15, 2010 (2010-11-10).
