Pakistan Confirms December 27 Public Holiday

The Chief Minister of Pakistan's Province of Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, has confirmed that Monday, December 27, 2010, would be a regional public holiday.

For the last 2 years (2009-12-19 and 2008-12-17), Pakistan's Province of Sindh has observed December 27 as an annual non-working public holiday to mark the anniversary of the death of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairwoman Benazir Bhutto (2007-12-28 and 2008-02-06).
