Pakistan Could Declare June 24 Public Holiday

Pakistani authorities have asked the Lahore district electoral coordination officer to announce a one-off public holiday on Thursday, June 24, 2010.

This would coincide with the upcoming by-election in PP-160 of the Punjab Assembly.
