The Samoan Cabinet has finally announced Monday, June 7, 2010, as the date of the public holiday that was promised, earlier this week, to celebrate Manu Samoa's victory in the World Sevens Championship.

Recall that, on Wednesday (2010-06-02), Samoa's Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Samoa Rugby Union, Tuilaepa Sa'ilele Malielegaoi, had announced that a special public holiday would soon be declared to celebrate Manu Samoa's recent win of the IRB Sevens rugby trophy in Edinburgh.
