Ukraine's President, Viktor Yushchenko, has signed a decree that establishes a holiday dedicated to Ukrainian soldiers who fought on the side of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, against Russia, during WWI.
President Yushchenko has reportedly said that a celebration is to be planned within two months to "mark the 95th anniversary of Ukraine's victory".
This new holiday is expected to be a regular working day.
