(Posted on Wednesday, January 26, 2011)

The government of Afghanistan has announced the list of official public holidays in Afghanistan for the calendar year 2011.

The aforementioned announcement confirms the recent announcement (09-Dec-2010) that the government of Afghanistan had moved the upcoming Prophet's Birthday public holiday to Wednesday, February 16, 2011, as the currently expected date conflicts with that year's Liberation Day public holiday (14-Feb-2007).
