The Cabinet of Ministers of Argentina's Capital Province of Buenos Aires has issued Resolución Nº 208/11 which declares Tuesday, October 11, 2011, as a one-off bank holiday and public sector holiday throughout the Capital Province of Buenos Aires, on account of the upcoming "Centenario de Salazar".

As per the text of the aforementioned decree, Tuesday, October 11, 2011, will be a one-off bank holiday and public sector holiday throughout the Capital Province of Buenos Aires ("día no laborable para la Administración Pública y Banco de la Provincia de Buenos Aires") and an optional public holiday for the private sector ("y feriado optativo para la industria el comercio y restantes actividades").

Note that as per last year's overhaul of the official list of public holidays in Argentina (2010-11-03), Monday, October 10, 2011, is a nationwide non-working public holiday on account of the "Día del Respeto a la Diversidad Cultural", which means that the banking sector and the public sector in Argentina's Capital Province will get a 4-day weekend/holiday.
