The spokesperson for Azerbaijan's Cabinet of Ministers, Akif Ali, has announced that Tuesday, November 8, 2011, had been declared a one-off bridge public holiday in Azerbaijan.

The aforementioned declaration of Tuesday, November 8, 2011, as a non-working public holiday in Azerbaijan, will bridge the one-day gap between the November 6-7, Eid al-Adha public holidays, and the recently created (05-Dec-2009) "State Flag Day", annual non-working public holiday on November 9th.

Recall that, in addition, last week (01-Oct-2011), Azerbaijan's Central Election Commission (CEC) had announced that Wednesday, November 30, 2011, would be a one-off electoral non-working public holiday in the regions of Azerbaijan concerned with the upcoming municipal by-elections.
