Bahrain Announces Prophet's Birthday Public Holiday

Bahrain's Prime Minister, Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, has issued a circular declaring Tuesday, February 15, 2011, as a public holiday to mark the birthday of Prophet Mohammed for the Islamic year 1432.

Contrary to last year (21-Feb-2010), the aforementioned announcement confirms that made earlier in the Bahrain Central Bank's list of expected 2011 bank and public holidays published last year (02-Jul-2010).
