Cuba's Ministry of Labor has announced that Monday, May 2, 2011, would be treated as a national non-working public holiday.
Normally, Cuban public holidays which fall on a weekend are not moved to the following Monday, so it remains to be seen if this is a one-off occurrence, or a perennial change as was the last one a few years ago (2006-12-20 and 2007-11-20).
