The Association of Banks in Lebanon has announced that, once again, Lebanese banks would be closed for one additional day, Wednesday, November 8, 2011, on account of this year's Eid al-Adha public holidays.
Usually, in the past (2010-11-12), the Eid al-Adha public sector holidays lasted 3 days, but the Lebanese bank holidays for Eid al-Adha only lasted 2 days. However, last year (2010-11-16), a similar 3rd day of bank holidays in Lebanon for the Eid al-Adha was also declared.
