Macedonia's Ministry of Labor and Social Policy has announced that Friday, June 10, 2011, (the Friday before Pentecost), would be an official non-working public holiday for Orthodox citizens of Macedonia.

The above is in line with the Macedonian Ministry of Labour and Social Policy's official list of 2011 public holidays in Macedonia, as published last fall (2010-10-22), and, more generally with the 2007 Bill on Amending the Law on State Holidays (2007-02-08).
