The Government of Pakistan's Province of Sindh has announced an additional public holiday across the province on Tuesday, February 15, 2011, on the day before the Eid Milad-un-Nabi national public holiday.

Recall that, last week (2011-02-08), the date of the upcoming Prophet's Birthday public holiday was changed to Wednesday, February 16, 2011, one day earlier than it was in the official list of public and optional holidays for the calendar year 2011, released by Pakistan's Ministry of Interior, in consultation with Karachi's Meteorological Department, earlier this year (2011-01-03).

The province of Sindh regularly declares regional public holidays (2011-01-18, 2010-12-23, 2010-12-03, and 2010-03-19).
