The City Council of Ukraine's western city of Lviv (Lvov) has announced plans to declare a non-working public holiday on Wednesday, June 13, 2012, the one European Football Championship 2012 game which will fall on a weekday.
Three games will be played in Lviv for the European Football Championship 2012, but the other 2 dates, June 9 and June 17, 2012, fall on a weekend.
As per the announcement by the director of Lviv City Council Euro 2012 Department, Oleh Zasadny, "Companies that don't provide services such as research institutes, factories will have a rest on this day".
