Azerbaijan's Cabinet of Ministers has announced the period of Saturday, December, 29, 2012, to Wednesday, January 2, 2013, as non-working public holidays in Azerbaijan on account of the upcoming "Solidarity Day of World Azerbaijanis" and "Western New Year" public holidays.

The aforementioned declaration of the period of Saturday, December, 29, 2012, to Wednesday, January 2, 2013, as non-working public holidays in Azerbaijan, which was published late last year (09-Dec-2011) which itself was based on the current labour law of Azerbaijan as it relates to the list of official non-working public holidays (30-Dec-2005).

Note that many media reports of the aforementioned declaration by Azerbaijan's Cabinet of Ministers, incorrectly list January 3, and sometimes even January 4, 2013, also as non-working public holidays in Azerbaijan.
