Bhutan's National Assembly has proposed declaring March 20, the date of the United Nation's International Day of Happiness, as a new annual non-working public holiday, Gross National Happiness Day.
Bhutan's labour and human resource minister, Dorji Wangdi,went on to say that the UN credited Bhutan for the observance of international happiness day.
