The mayor of the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro, Eduardo Paes, has announced that he plans to declare Wednesday to Friday, June 20-22, 2012, as municipal non-working public holidays.

The aforementioned 3 non-working public holidays would be declared to reduce traffic congestion during the upcoming June 13-22, Rio+20 Summit.
