The Government of Hungary has released the final version of the list of official non-working public holidays in Hungary for the calendar year 2013.
A draft version of the aforementioned announcement had been released based upon the recommendation of the Hungarian National Economy Minister, György Matolcsy, late last summer (2012-09-07). Contrary to last year (2011-10-15 and 2011-08-11), there are no changes compared to the draft version.
As has been the case for the last few years (2011-10-15, 2010-11-21, 2009-09-29, 2008-07-22, 2007-11-20, and 2006-09-12), the aforementioned announcement includes the list of bridge, and other one-off, public holidays for the calendar year 2012, along with the list of Saturdays that will be regular working days, in compensation.
The aforementioned applies to both the private and public sectors ("E rendelet hatálya kiterjed minden munkáltatóra és az általuk foglalkoztatottakra").
