Macedonia's Ministry of Labour and Social Policy has announced that Tuesday, January 1st, 2013, would be a non-working public holiday throughout Macedonia "for all citizens of the Republic of Macedonia" on account of the upcoming "New Year".
The above are in line with the Law on Holidays of the Republic of Macedonia (Official Gazette, and br.21/98 7.18) as last amended in 2007 (2007-02-08).
However, the Macedonian Ministry of Labour and Social Policy has not yet released the official list of 2013 public holidays in Macedonia, contrary to what was done in the fall of previous years (2011-11-03 and 2010-10-22).
