Although the aforementioned announcement includes specific list of public holidays for Muslims, Hindus, Balmikis, Christians, Parsis, Buddhists, and Sikhs, it does not include annually recurring public holidays such as the anniversary of the death of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairwoman Benazir Bhutto (2007-12-28 and 2008-02-06) which was declared a non-working regional public holiday for the last 4 consecutive years (2011-12-10, 2010-12-23, 2009-12-19 and 2008-12-17).
