The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has declared Monday, July 2, 2012, as a bank holiday throughout Pakistan.
The details of the aforementioned announcements is based on the fact that Monday, July 2, 2012, had already been declared as a non-working public holiday by the government of Pakistan, earlier this year (2012-01-15).
As per custom, under similar circumstances (2012-04-27), the aforementioned announcement states that all banks/DFIs/MFBs will remain closed for public dealing on that date.
