The Pakistani Minister of the Interior, Rehaman Malik, has announced that Thursday, November 22, 2012, would be a one-off non-working public holiday in the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) due to the upcoming D-8 Summit.
In related regional Pakistani public holidays news, the governments of the Pakistani Provinces of Sindh and of Khyber Pakhtoonkhaw have announced that they would observe a 3-day public holidays from Friday to Sunday, November 23 to 25, 2012, on account of the upcoming Ashura.
