The Government of Portugal has announced that Monday, December 24, and Monday, December 31, had been declared as one-off non-working public sector holidays (tolerância de ponto).
Two years ago (2010-12-22), the Prime Minister of Portugal, José Sócrates Carvalho Pinto de Sousa, had similarly published a decree declaring Friday, December 24, 2010, and Friday, December 31, 2010, as public sector holidays (tolerância de ponto).
