It states that non-essential government workers are to be off work on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 ("El Gobernador de Puerto Rico... determinó como medida preventiva la cancelación de labores en el Gobierno, el miércoles, 22 de agosto de 2012").

Last year (2011-08-23, 2011-08-22, 2011-08-21, 2011-08-02 and 2011-07-31), 5 days had been declared a one-off non-working public sector holidays on account of tropical storms Irene and Emily.
