South Sudan Changes Weekends

The Governor of South Sudan's State of Central Equatoria (CES), Clement Wani Konga, has extended the weekend in his state to include Friday afternoons "to enable the people to get involved in agriculture and livestock activities in order to promote food security".

As per the statement commented on by the Central Equatoria Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Michael Roberto Kenyi, the extension of the weekends to include Friday afternoons will apply to all constitutional post holders and civil servants of the state.
