Late last night, following the Windies' victory over Australia, the Prime Minister of St Vincent and the Grenadines, Ralph Gonsalves, announced that tomorrow, Tuesday, March 20, 2012, would be a one-off non-working public holiday in St Vincent and the Grenadines.

As per the aforementioned announcement, the declaration of Tuesday, March 20, 2012, as a one-off non-working public holiday in St Vincent and the Grenadines was partially to celebrate last night's victory, but also to ensure that there is a record attendance at Tuesday's match at the Arnos Vale Cricket Ground in St Vincent.

A similar cricket-related public holiday had been declared in St Vincent and the Grenadines a few years ago (2008-06-23).
