The UAE's Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) has announced that the UAE financial markets will be off on the date of the upcoming non-working public holiday on account of Hijri New Year 1434.
As per the aforementioned announcement, financial markets nationwide will close on Thursday, November 15, 2012, and resume transactions on Sunday, November 18, 2012.
Earlier this month (2012-11-05), Thursday, November 15, 2012, had been declared a non-working public holiday on account of the upcoming Hijri New Year 1434, by Saqr Ghobash Saeed Ghobash, the UAE's Minister of Labour.
