Saqr Ghobash Saeed Ghobash, the UAE's Minister of Labour, has announced that Thursday, November 15, 2012, would be a non-working public holiday on account of the upcoming Hijri New Year 1434.

As usual (2012-10-17), a similar announcement by the UAE's Minister of Education, Humaid Mohammed Obaid Al Qattami, in his capacity as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources, is expected.
