Argentina's Ministry of the Interior has announced that the upcoming, annual, October 12, "Día de la Diversidad Cultural Americana", non-working public holiday would be moved to Monday, October 14, 2013.
The aforementioned announcement is in line with the list of official public holidays in Argentina for the calendar year 2013, as announced by Argentina's Ministry of the Interior, last fall (2012-11-12).
Three years ago (2010-11-03), as part of a major public holidays overhaul decreed by Argentina's President, Cristina Fernández de Kirchner (Boletín Oficial, Número 32.020, Año CXVIII), the traditional "Día de la Raza" public holiday of Argentina was renamed as "Día de la Diversidad Cultural Americana".
