Bahrain's Prime Minister, Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, has issued a circular declaring the day of the upcoming Eid Al-Fitr (End of Ramadan) and the 2 days that follow, as non-working public holidays in Bahrain to mark the upcoming Eid Al Fitr holidays for the Islamic year 1434.
In addition, as was done last year (2012-08-15), and as Fridays and Saturdays are one of the weekly days of rest in Bahrain (2006-08-02), the circular specifies that "The holiday will be extended by two days as Friday and Saturday are already an official weekly holiday".
