The Conselleria de Treball de la Generalitat de Catalunya has published the list of 2014 non-working public holidays (calendario laboral) in Spain's Autonomous Region of Cataluña.
The aforementioned list of 2014 public holidays in Spain's Autonomous Region of Cataluña is to be gazetted in an "EMO per la qual s'estableix el calendari oicial de festes laborals per a l'any 2014" (Diari Oficial de la Generalitat de Catalunya).
For the calendar year 2014, the Autonomous Region of Cataluña has declared regional public holidays on September 11 (Diada Nacional de Catalunya) and on December 26 (Sant Esteve), as had already been the case for the past 2 years (2012-06-29 and 2011-05-16).
As per custom (2012-06-29, 2011-05-16, 2010-05-31 and 2009-06-05), Cataluña is the only Spanish region that does not observe Maundy Thursday as a public holiday, opting, instead, to declare Easter Monday (Dilluns de Pasqua) as a regional public holiday.
