The Office of Communication of the Presidency of Haiti has announced that Haiti's President had issued an Executive Order declaring Thursday, May 30, 2013, as an additional one-off non-working public holiday throughout Haiti to coincide with this year's "Corpus Christi" holiday.

As per the aforementioned statement, "Thursday, May 30, 2013, the day of theCorpus Christiis declared a national holiday (not worked). Therefore, Public Administration, schools, trade and Industry will no work that day".

Earlier this year (2013-02-03), Haiti's President had declared the afternoon of Monday, February 11, and all day Wednesday, February 13, 2013, as additional one-off non-working public holidays to coincide with this year's Carnival public holidays in Haiti.
