Haiti Public Holiday May 30

The Office of Communication of the Presidency of Haiti has announced that Haiti's President had issued an Executive Order declaring Thursday, May 30, 2013, as an additional one-off non-working public holiday throughout Haiti to coincide with this year's "Corpus Christi" holiday.

As per the aforementioned statement, "Thursday, May 30, 2013, the day of theCorpus Christiis declared a national holiday (not worked). Therefore, Public Administration, schools, trade and Industry will no work that day".

Earlier this year (03-Feb-2013), Haiti's President had declared the afternoon of Monday, February 11, and all day Wednesday, February 13, 2013, as additional one-off non-working public holidays to coincide with this year's Carnival public holidays in Haiti.
