The Ministerial Committee for Legislation of the Knesset (Israel's Parliament) has endorsed a proposal to declare November 30 as a national day to commemorate the eviction of Jews from many Arab countries following the creation of the state of Israel.
This new national day is not expected to be a non-working day (ie. it is expected to be a regular working day).
