The President of Liberia, Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, has issued a proclamation declaring Friday, March 15, 2013, as a non-working public holiday to be observed throughout the Republic of Liberia as a national non-working public holiday marking the 204th Birth Anniversary of Liberia's first President Joseph Jenkins Roberts.
The aforementioned J.J. Roberts public holiday was set aside as an annual non-working public holiday by an Act passed by the Third Session of the 42nd National Legislature of the Republic of Liberia.
