Malawi January 17 Public Holiday Ruled-Out

Malawi's Information Minister, Moses Kunkuyu, has announced that tomorrow, Thursday, January 17, 2013, had not been, and would not be, declared as a one-off non-working public holiday by the government of Malawi.

Tomorrow is the date when the Consumers Association of Malawi (Cama) is to stage nationwide protests against the economic reforms implemented by the Joyce Banda administration.
