Panama's President, Ricardo Martinelli, has issued a decree (Decreto Ejecutivo No. 821) which announces that the upcoming annual, November 28, non-working public holiday in Panama will, once again, be moved to Monday, December 2, 2013.
As per the aforementioned decree, jointly signed by Panama's Minister of the Interior, Jorge Ricardo Fábrega, the upcoming "Independencia de Panamá de España" annual non-working public holiday will be moved from Thursday, November 28, 2013, to Monday, December 2, 2013, as could have been expected (2013-10-15 and 2007-12-30) and as was done in past years (2012-10-30 and 2011-12-06).
