A bill has been introduced in the Romanian legislature to declare the third day of Easter (Orthodox Good Friday) as an additional non-working public holiday in Romania.
A few years ago (2008-03-18), the Romanian Chamber of Deputies (Camerei Deputatilor) had adopted a law that added the 2 days of Pentecost, Whitsunday and Whitmonday, to the official list of public holidays in Romania, based on a senate bill from 2004 (2004-02-24).
Most recently (2012-06-27), the same Romanian Chamber of Deputies approved a bill which declared Saint Andrew, as a new annual, November 30, non-working public holiday in Romania.
