Serbian May 2013 Public Holidays Announced

(Posted on Wednesday, March 27, 2013)

Source: Serbian Government Ministry of Labour and Social Policy (Belgrade)

The Serbian government has confirmed that May 1st to May 6th, 2013, would be official non-working public holidays in Serbia.

The aforementioned announcement is in line with the amended "Law on State Holidays" of Serbia of 2 years ago (05-Dec-2011), although one should note that most media reports mention May 1-7, 2013, as public holidays in Serbia, but in reality "the first working day after these holidays will be on Tuesday, 7 May".
