Freshly returned from yesterday's one-off public holiday, the Office of the President of Sierra Leone has announced that Friday, February 22, 2013, had been declared a one-off non-working public holiday throughout Sierra Leone, to once again mark the inauguration of President Ernest Bai Koroma.

As per the aforementioned communique, "In view of its national character and the involvement of citizens of all walks of life in the programme, Friday 22nd February, 2013 is hereby declared a public holiday throughout the republic of Sierra Leone to mark the holding of the inauguration ceremony".

The date of the first inauguration of President Ernest Bai Koroma had also been declared a one-off public holiday (15-Nov-2007).

Yesterday, Monday, February 18, 2013, had been declared a one-off non-working public holiday throughout Sierra Leone, to be observed as Armed Forces Day, late last week (14-Feb-2013).
